Ullipayala Pulusu

Ullipayala Pulusu in telugu, how to prepare Ullipayala Pulusu at home

Ingredients:
Baby Onions - 250 grams
Jaggery - 50 Grams
Tomatoes - 2
Tamarind juice - 1 cup
Oil
Curry leaves
Green chillies - 3
Red chilli powder - 1 spoon
Pulusu podi (Chana dal,pepper,cumin seeds,fenugreek )
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder - Pinch
Garlic cloves - 8

Preparation:
1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it.

2.Add cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds,garlic cloves 8-10, saute for a minute.

3.Add curry leaves,green chillies and saute,add baby onions,fry for few minutes.

4.Add tomatoes chopped,turmeric powder a pinch,red chilli powder 1 tbsp,saute for few minutes.

5.Add tamarind juice,some water as we needed,cover and boil for few minutes.

6.Remove the lid and add jaggery,pulusu podi 2 tbsp,salt to taste and give it a stir.Transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.
