
Ingredients:
Coriander leaves 1 bunch
Garlic 4 cloves
Green chillies 6
Oil 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Bay leaves 2
Peanuts 2 tbsp
Chana dal 1 tbsp
Dried red chillies 4
Urad dal 1 tbsp
Onion 1 sliced
Basmati rice 1 1/2 cup
Preparation:
1.Wash and soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes.
2.Take a blender add in garlic,green chillies,coriander leaves,coconut and blend into a smooth consistency.
3.Take a pan heat some oil,add cumin seeds,bay leaf,dried red chillies,peanuts,chana dal and mix well.Fry till peanuts and chana dal turns light brown color.
4.Add urad dal and cook for 30 seconds.
5.Add onion sliced and saute till translucent.Add coriander chutney and mix well,cook for 3-4 minutes.
6.Add soaked rice and mix well,add 3 cups water,salt and cook on high flame for 5 minutes.
7.After 5 minutes cook on low heat for 20 minutes till done.Serve hot with raita.
