Crispy Dosa

Crispy Dosa in telugu,dosa, how to prepare Crispy Dosa at home

Ingredients:
Long Grain Rice 2 cups
Ponni Parboiled Rice 1/2 cup
Urad dal 1 cup
Chana dal 2 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Baking soda a pinch
Oil

Preparation:
1.Wash and soak the rice,ponni rice for 8 hours.

2.Combine urad dal,chana dal and fenugreek seeds and saok separately for 8 hours minimum.

3.Drain water from both Rice and Daals, keeping the two separate.

4.Take a blender and blend both rice and daal into smooth batter by adding some water.

5.Add in baking soda,salt to taste and mix well.

6. Cover and keep container in a warm place to ferment the batter.Once fermented, gently mix the batter.

7.Now preheat a non stick pan by drizzling some oil and wipe out with paper napkin.

8.Take a ladle full of batter and pour on tawa in a circular motion,drizzle a little oil on dosa.

9.Cook evenly on both sides and roll the dosa.Serve hot with chutney.
