
Ingredients:
Chana dal 2 spoons
Curry leaves - 2 cups
Garlic 6
Green chillies 3
Fenugreek seeds 1/2 spoon
Cumin seeds 1/2 spoon
Mustard seeds 1/2 spoon
Oil
Pepper 1/2 spoon
Salt to taste
Tamarind - Pinch
Preparation:
1.Heat some oil in a pan,add mustard,fenugreek,cumin seeds and mix well.
2.Add chana dal,tamarind,pepper corns and saute for few minutes.As chana dal gets colour,add green chillies,garlic cloves.Cook till they become dry.
3.Once green chillies starts drying, add curry leaves and hing powder.Cook on a low heat till curry leaves dry out.
4.Add a pinch of salt and allow the mixture to cool down,Blend the mixture and add the salt to the powder.
