Dal Makhani

Dal Makhani in telugu,how to made Dal Makhani at home,how to prepare Dal Makhani
Ingredients:
Urad dal 1/2 cup
Rajma 1/8 cup
Grated ginger 1 tbsp
Green capsicum 1 minced
Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Mango powder 1/2 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1/4 tbsp
Cream 1/4 cup
Ghee 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
Pinch of asafoetida
Red chillies 3-4
Red chilli powder 1/4 tbsp
Preparation:
1.Wash urad dal,rajma and soak for 8 hours.

2.In a pressure cooker add in dals,turmeric powder,salt,ginger and green capsicum.Cook on medium high heat.

3.As pressure cooker starts steaming turn the heat down to medium and cook for about 25 minutes.

4.Turn off the heat and wait until steam has stopped.Urad dal and rajma should be soft and tender.

5.Lightly mash dals and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.Add cream,garam masala,mango powder and let it cook for 10 minutes on low heat.

6.Heat some ghee in a pan,add in cumin seeds,asafoetida,red chillies,red chilli powder and stir it for few seconds.

7.Add 1 tbsp water to keep the spices from burning,pour spiced ghee over dal and mix well,serve hot.
