Spinach Paratha(Palakura Paraatha)

Spinach Paratha in telugu,how to make palak paratha,prepare Spinach Paratha

Ingredients:

Wheat flour 1 cup
Salt to taste
Spinach chopped 2 cups
Pinch of asafoetida
Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
Red chilli flakes 1/4 tbsp
Oil to cook

Preparation:

1.Mix flour, salt and water togather to make soft dough,Knead the dough for a few minutes on a lightly greased surface to make soft, smooth.
2.Set the dough aside and cover it with a damp cloth. Let the dough rest for at least ten minutes.
3.Heat the oil in a saucepan on medium-high heat.
4.Add the cumin seeds and asafetida. After the cumin seeds crack, add the spinach.
5.Cook the spinach until most of the water has evaporated.Add the pepper and salt and mix well.
6.Divide the dough and spinach filling into 6 equal parts.Roll the dough and fill it spinach stuff.Seal the edges and remove excess dough.
7.Roll the ball into paratha,meanwhile heat a skillet and place paratha on it,cook on both sides evenly by drizzling some oil.Fry till golden spots appear on both sides.Serve hot.
