
Ingredients:
Betel leaves 12
Besan flour 1/4 kilo
Baking soda 10 grams
Oil 1 liter
Red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Vaamu 20 grams
Preparation:
1.In a bowl combine besan flour,salt,vaamu,baking soda,red chilli powder and mix well with water,prepare a smooth batter.
2.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying,now dip betel leaves in besan batter and drop them in hot oil,deep fry.
3.Keep turning in between and fry evenly till nice golden colour,Transfer on a paper napkin and remove excess oil.Serve hot.
