    Allam Pachadi (Ginger pachadi)



    Ingredients:

    Ginger 100gms
    Green chillies 10
    Jaggery small piece
    Dry red chillies 15
    Oil 100ml
    Fenugreek seeds
    Cumin/mustard seeds
    Salt to taste
    Tamarind
    Tomatoes 1 cup
    Urad dal/chana dal
    Coriander leaves

    Preparation:

    1.Take a pan pour 3 tbsp oil and heat it.
    2.Fry ginger chopped 1 cup for few minutes till light brown colour.Transfer into a bowl.
    3.In the same pan add fenu greek seeds,cumin,mustard seeds 1 tbsp,green chillies,tomatoes chopped 1 cup mix well all the ingredients.Cook for 2 minutes.
    4.Transfer the fried mixture into a bowl.
    5.Now grind the fried ginger,tomatoes chopped,tamarind,jaggery small pieces,salt into a smooth paste.Transfer into a bowl.
    6.Take another pan pour 4 tbsp oil and heat it,add cumin seeds,mustard seeds,urad dal,chana dal 1 tbsp,dry red chillies 4 saute for a minute.Finally transfer the tempering mixture into ginger chutney and give it a mix.Serve with hot idlies,dosas.
