Ingredients:
Raw mango pieces 1 cup
Toor dal 1 cup
Fenugreek seeds 1/2 cup
Jaggery 1/2 cup
Garlic cloves 4
Tempering seeds 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder a pinch
Red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tbsp
Dried red chillies 5
Curry leaves
Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp
Coriander leaves
Preparation:
1.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,garlic cloves and fry for a minute till nice brown colour.
2.Add dried red chillies,curry leaves,raw mango pieces and mix well,cover and cook for a minute.
3.Add turmeric,salt,red chilli powder and mix well,add some coriander powder,jaggery and saute for few minutes till jaggery melts.
4.Finally add toor dal boiled with fenugreek seeds and fry for couple of minutes.
5.Now add some water,coriander leaves and cook for another few minutes.Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot with coriander,cashew nuts.
